Backpack Waist Straps

Red Oxx backpacks and rucksacks are "soft sided" and are not designed for a waist strap. Effective waist straps are usually only useful if the backpack has a frame. Since Red Oxx does not have the production capacity for developing and manufacturing backpack frames (we looked into it once), and since outsourcing metal fabrication in the U.S.A. would be prohibitively expensive (looked into that idea, too), we do not offer waist straps for our backpacks. 

You can try using a Red Oxx Luggage Compression Strap to cinch down the upper section of your backpack. This can effectively pull your load closer to your upper body, often negating the need for a waist strap.
